As the Big Sky, Montana community grows, so does the need for amenities that were previously found over an hour away. To cater to Big Sky’s growth and the need for local medical facilities, this practitioner is bringing a small medical practice into the community. The practice offers a variety of essential medical services.

HOME DESIGN DETAILS

The design for this space includes a remodel that transforms an existing office space into a new state-of-the-art medical practice suite. To transition the space into a medical office, the plans rework several spaces and accommodate the requirements for each room’s new purpose. Planning for this project includes working with the client’s supplier of large radiology medical equipment to guide the logistical and technical layouts of the new spaces. Medical equipment and code requirements are of utmost importance, and with this being a commercial space, the project requires a state review and building permit. While there may be many logistics to be thought of throughout this office remodel due to medical equipment and code requirements, the office environment is finished off with a relaxing interior and a spa-like feel throughout. The outcome is a bright, light interior with large windows that look out to the mountain landscape and offer a vibrant yet calming experience for patients.

Creating a quality space where medical professionals can offer much-needed services makes this private medical practice an important addition to the community of Big Sky. Now that the door of this medical office is opened, each patient feels welcomed into this calming space while receiving advanced medical services in this conveniently located facility.
