Alpine Greens Addition

CLIENT OVERVIEW

This existing home in Big Sky, Montana, with expansive windows showcasing the incredible mountain views, was ready for an addition. Wanting to spend more time in Montana means a dedicated office was needed, and to cater to a growing family, it was important to add a full-circle family suite for family members of all ages to feel at home.

HOME DESIGN DETAILS

The full design of this addition includes an expanded bunkroom, new exercise room, dedicated laundry room, and gear closet as well as the addition of another junior master suite. On the other side of the home, a secluded space to work, a three-sided glass office, was added down a new breezeway and upstairs for privacy. Having a functional office space was a requirement of the design, and this office also captures the surrounding views once again.

Working with the client’s desire to maintain a balanced feel, this design includes new additions to both sides of the home. Blending the additions into the current look of the home and merging the new and existing spaces was essential to the design of this project.
